Perennials
Year after year, a gardener's best friend
Herbaceous perennials are plants each year send up new growth and form flowering stems
which set seed and then die down to ground level in Autumn. Traditionally they were grown
in large rectangular beds set into lawn with a wall or hedge at the back of the border.
Today herbacious borders are more likely to be mixed with shrubs, bulbs,
climbers, annuals and biennials to give year round interest using foliage and flowers
for colour, texture and structure.
Perennials come in all different sizes shapes and colours, offering endless possibilities, but whether your garden basks
in sunshine, has lots of shady corners or you dream of a cottage garden, we'll have plants that
will meet your needs.
Hostas
Hostas are the perfect plants for any shaded or semi-shaded part of the garden.
There are many varieties available, with large rounded leaves to small and narrow and leaf colours ranging from blue to green to golden yellow.
Bulbs
We stock a wide range of bulbs in season, including onion sets and seed potatoes.
Choose naturalised bulbs for your flower bed or pot-planting bulbs for full blooming display.
